Documentary: My Father’s Choice

Yan Ting Yuen (49) was born in Hong Kong, but her parents moved to the Netherlands when she was six years young. They settled in Maastricht where they opened a Chinese restaurant, Asia, in the center of town. Her documentary, My Father’s Choice, examines their family history in liaison to major changes in China and it balances questions and answers offering food for thought.
