Guitarist and vocalist Raf Koene was born and raised in Maastricht. He left for university in Rotterdam and has been working and living in Amsterdam for quite some time now. His passion has always been music. He found some kindred spirits, they name themselves BoldR and together they wrote an album of 12 new tracks that will soon be released.
This Is Where We Are is a collection of songs that can be described as jazzy pop with a hint of fusion. Their influences are George Duke, Crosby Stills & Nash, John Coltrane and many others.
